All the hill stations have a few things in common. Those are the hills and mall road. Each every hill station has such roads full of shops and restaurants where you can buy famous local stuff as well as try various famous dishes of the place.

2.Hadimba Temple Manali

2 KMs from Manali Mall Road

Hadimba Devi Temple is one more tourist attraction where tourist visits to see the beautifully constructed Temple showing the culture of Manali. The structure of Hadimba temple is very different to normal temples you see in planes.

It is a square Temple that have similar structure from all 4 sides. From my personal experience I do not find Temple much exciting. More exciting was to way to reach we climbed more than 400 stairs to reach the temple. The view on the way to Hadimba Temple is very soothing.

3.Solang Valley

20-25 KMs from Manali

Solang Valley
Solang valley

Solang valley is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. If you visit there in winters you will see it covered with snow, which seems extremely beautiful. But one drawback of visiting in winters is camping is closed in solang valley, so, you won't be able to camp at solang valley.

If you visit in the summers, you will see beautiful green valley with a lot of adventure sports including trekking, camping, Paragliding and many more.

The Solang village trek is most famous trek in Manali trip, which you must try when you visit there. Preferred months for this trek is when there is no snowfall that means summer season. Solang valley must be in your bucket list whether you visit in summer or winters.

So, this place should be in your bucket list of Places to visit in Manali.

4.Rothang Pass

51-53 KMs from Manali

Rothang pass is a must go place this is the gateway to leh Ladakh. It is always covered with snow and is closed in winters. So, if you are planning to get a sight of beauty of Rothang pass you must plan a trip in summers.

You need to pre-book the passes basically done by the cab drivers. So that you get the entry in Rothang Pass. So, contact a cab driver in advance and get your passes booked for a specific date.

So, this place should be in your bucket list of Places to visit in Manali.

5.Hotels on outskirts of Manali

This is something lovely and exciting. You can see actual beauty of Manali on the outskirts of the town. Booking a hotel away from Mall Road will give you the vibes you are looking for.

Frankly saying, I would suggest you either to book a hotel in old Manali or Aleo. I strongly recommend Aleo as I have stayed in Hosteller Manali that is in Aleo and the view is delighting.

So, if you are planning a trip to Manali make sure, you book a hotel in the outskirts of the town or else you will surely miss some spectacular view.

So, this place should be in your bucket list of Places to visit in Manali.

6.Staying at a campsite

Old Manali or Solang Valley

Staying at a campsite, this is something everyone wants to try at least once, right? I seriously wanted to when I visited there.

So when you visit Manali you have two choices- one is to book camp in the outskirts of the town and another one is camping in the Solang valley when you go for a trek there. I would strongly recommend second option but for that you would need to pay a visit in the summers.

This seems simple, if you visit in summer go for trekking and camping in solang. And if you visit in winters you can stay in any camp in the outskirts of the town. You will love the vibes there as well. You can check 'Himtrekk riverside camp.

So, this place should be in your bucket list of Places to visit in Manali.

7.Buddhist Monastery

0.5 km from Mall Road Manali

Buddhist Monastery is a peaceful place. You can stay there, click some good photographs and spend some quality time. As it is near to the Mall Road you can easily get to this point and just feel the vibes there.

When we visited Manali, we had no idea about this place but we saw those Ladakh flags hanging on the walls of monastery which attracted us. And we spent some quality time there and got some cool shots to post as well. You don't need an entire day for this, just mark this place and visit for at least 1 hour and feel peace surrounding you.

This place is very beautiful long trees on the hilltop. Less crowded and you can get some amazing pictures here. There is a lake in this area, hilltop view, Maggie point at the center of the park, but they serve very expensive momos but we had to eat those as we were hungry.

More than anything you will capture memories in this park just like we did on our trip to Manali. So, this place should be in your bucket list of Places to visit in Manali.
